Mother's day!
I have the best job in the world. How can you not enjoy being a mother when you have kids as great as these two? Are they challenging? Yes. Are they frustrating? Yes. Would I ever trade them? Not in a million years. I forgot to take a picture of my present-a rose tree, so I'll try to post it later, but for now, here's some pictures of my morning. In true Michelle fashion, I don't have any with my eyes open...

1 year old
Caleb is one year old already. How did that happen? In no way does it feel like it has been a year. I feel like if I blink again he will be graduating college. It has been a hard, rewarding year. Caleb has been a little more high maintenance than Abby was, but we have loved every minute of having this little man with us. Enjoy some of our newest pictures of him:
Chuck wants to change his name to Winston, because he always has a "cigar" hanging out of his mouth. This is the look you get 90% of the time...
My favorite men in the whole world. He is definitely his father's son.
They look more and more alike every day. Caleb's newest things:
-He is army crawling with the best of them. He can't/won't get up on hands and knees, but he can still fly!
-He is nosy and can get into anything in 2 seconds flat.
-He can wave and say "bye-bye"
-He can FINALLY say "mama"
-He said "done" and handed me his bottle the other day.
I'll ask one more time, how in the world did he grow up this fast? Happy birthday little man!

Kite festival
Georgetown has an international kite festival in April. Our church took the young kids and they had a great time!
Gymnastics
While I don't want Abby to by in the Olympics, I really would like her to be a little more coordinated than me. If she can make it once a month without twisting or spraining something she will be on the right track... Here is her first "mommy and me" gymnastics class. She has learned so much. She can turn a front somersault and do a "bridge" all by herself now! Way to go Abby!
